I'm Muhammad Asadullah Kissana — known professionally as Asadullah Kissana, and also written as Asad Kissana or M. Asadullah Kissana. I'm a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer and Project Coordinator with 4+ years of experience testing enterprise ERP systems, SaaS platforms, web applications, and mobile apps.
I started as an SQA Engineer at QuaidSoft in 2021, testing large real-estate ERP and CRM platforms. That work taught me the lesson that still shapes how I test: in a system where modules share data, the interface will happily show you a correct number while the stored record is wrong. Learning to verify in SQL rather than trusting the screen roughly doubled the number of defects I could find.
Since 2024 I've been Senior SQA Engineer and Project Coordinator at NIB Tech in Faisalabad, owning quality assurance across RideSkipper, Hangar Direct, and Carpet Market — a chauffeur booking app, an aviation booking platform, and an eCommerce store. The work spans test planning, API validation in Postman, database-level verification, multi-role permission testing, and release sign-off, plus the coordination side: grooming the backlog, tracking progress, and keeping everyone aligned on what is actually shipping.
Alongside the full-time role I founded and run aimEncoders, a web and software development studio. It's a deliberate second track rather than a side project I neglect: it keeps me hands-on with modern stacks, and it means the clients who work with us get a build where quality assurance is part of the process instead of an afterthought.
My analytical foundation comes from a Bachelor of Computer Science studied at Govt Post Graduate College, Burewala, affiliated with Bahauddin Zakariya University. I've since certified in hands-on manual testing and in Selenium WebDriver automation with Java, and automation is the direction I'm actively growing in.
Where I'm from, and why it's part of the story.
I'm originally from Chak No 180/EB, a village in the Vehari district of Punjab, Pakistan. I now live and work in Faisalabad, where my current role is based.
Growing up in a small farming village, software as a career was not an obvious path — there was no one nearby doing it to learn from. What there was instead was time, curiosity, and a habit of taking things apart to understand how they worked. That habit turned out to be exactly the disposition quality assurance rewards: the willingness to keep asking "but what happens if…" after everyone else has agreed it works.
I mention where I'm from because the route from a village school to owning QA on production software is not well documented in Pakistan, and I know there are people from similar backgrounds looking for evidence that it's possible. It is. It's slower without a network, but the work itself doesn't care where you learned it.
